Instrumentation

The standard pesticide screen is carried out using both gas chromatography (GC) and liquid chromatography (LC) techniques coupled with highly sensitive and selective detectors. Our expert scientists help to interpret and advise customers on the results and thus provide solutions to the most complex analytical questions. Water testing is done using AAS, UV-Vis spectrometer, pH and EC meters.

Pesticide residue analysis

The laboratory makes use of a wide range of analytical chemical techniques to determine the levels of pesticide residues in different agricultural products. It provides a GLP service to ensure customer regulatory compliance with guidance residue levels which when in excess; they can be harmful to consumers.
