1. Overall, Job Purpose
This is a 12-month fixed term contract. The position requires exceptional technical and communication skills and experience. The incumbent should be a good team player, highly responsive and willing to work outside normal working hours and will be on a performance-based
contract reporting to the Engineering Superintendent.
2. Duties and Responsibilities
• Building new structures
• Renovating existing structures
• Seedbeds construction
• Road maintenance
• Follow safety protocols during construction
• Carry out planned maintenance
• Offer technical advice to the supervisor and management.
3. Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
• Builder Journeyman Class 3
• Clean Class 4 Driver’s license
• At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in construction.
• Good report writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willingness to travel to off stations.
