1. Overall Job Purpose
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract. The position exists to ensure the production of high-quality horticulture seedlings/crops. The position requires a hands-on approach and very excellent communication skills. The incumbent should be a good team player and willing to work outside normal working hours and will be reporting to the
greenhouse supervisor.
2. Job Description
• Responsible for horticulture seedling and crop production (seed sowing and seedling maintenance).
• Monitors and manages the seedlings/crops, identifying and addressing any issues related to pests, diseases or nutrient deficiencies.
• Maintains greenhouse cleanliness and organization, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
• Maintains greenhouse records and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with the greenhouse team to achieve set production.
3. Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
• Minimum of 5 O’ levels
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a greenhouse setting, specifically
with horticultural seedlings.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve challenges.
• A passion for horticulture and a commitment to high-quality crop care.
• Willingness for further training
